Summary:
Ascot Care are looking for friendly, flexible, reliable, caring, committed and sincere individuals who have a passion for supporting the elderly and vulnerable in their own homes. Our care workers visit clients in their own homes on a daily basis in Horsham and the surrounding areas, providing personal care, helping with domestic duties and assisting with medication, etc. Previous experience is not essential as we can provided full induction training and support with ongoing personal development.
Responsibilities:
– assisting the clients with taking medication- assisting with preparation of meals and light snacks
– helping clients get dressed or undressed where necessary
– assisting clients with bathing and washing where necessary
– assisting clients getting into or out of bed at night or in the morning
– assisting clients who are disabled or incapacitated or have dementia
– performing light domestic duties such as cleaning, hoovering, etc.
Requirements:
– experience in the care industry is beneficial
– should be compassionate, friendly, polite and respectful
– should have your own transport and vehicle insurance
– should have good written documentation and record-keeping
– must be able to perform manual handling
– must have the ability to communicate at all levels
– work as part of a team and use initiative when required
– must be able to work some early mornings and late evenings
– have to be DBS-cleared (we will do this for you)
Training:
– we provide initial free (paid) training on manual handling, medication, safeguarding of vulnerable adults, food hygiene, infection control and first aid
– shadowing (paid) a senior carer initially until confident doing the care alone
Pay rates and benefits:
– Starting from £826.00 per week
– Holiday Pay is paid on top, calculated on an accrual basis
– Annual leave (pro-rata)

Summary:
Ascot Care are looking for friendly, flexible, reliable, caring, committed and sincere individuals who have a passion for supporting the elderly and vulnerable in their own homes. Our care workers visit clients in their own homes on a daily basis in Haywards Heath and the surrounding areas, providing personal care, helping with domestic duties and assisting with medication, etc. Previous experience is not essential as we can provided full induction training and support with ongoing personal development.
Responsibilities:
– assisting the clients with taking medication- assisting with preparation of meals and light snacks
– helping clients get dressed or undressed where necessary
– assisting clients with bathing and washing where necessary
– assisting clients getting into or out of bed at night or in the morning
– assisting clients who are disabled or incapacitated or have dementia
– performing light domestic duties such as cleaning, hoovering, etc.
Requirements:
– experience in the care industry is beneficial
– should be compassionate, friendly, polite and respectful
– should have your own transport and vehicle insurance
– should have good written documentation and record-keeping
– must be able to perform manual handling
– must have the ability to communicate at all levels
– work as part of a team and use initiative when required
– must be able to work some early mornings and late evenings
– have to be DBS-cleared (we will do this for you)
Training:
– we provide initial free (paid) training on manual handling, medication, safeguarding of vulnerable adults, food hygiene, infection control and first aid
– shadowing (paid) a senior carer initially until confident doing the care alone
Pay rates and benefits:

– Holiday Pay is paid on top, calculated on an accrual basis
